Role Overview: We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated PE Teacher to join our talented team. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality physical education lessons, promoting physical fitness, and encouraging a lifelong love of sport and physical activity among our students. You will play a crucial role in developing the physical literacy, well-being, and sportsmanship of our students.

Key Responsibilities:


  • Plan, deliver, and assess engaging and effective PE lessons across Key Stages 3-5.
  • Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment that encourages student participation and achievement.
  • Organize and lead extracurricular sports activities, clubs, and school teams.
  • Monitor and report on student progress, providing feedback and support to help students reach their full potential.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement innovative PE curriculum initiatives.
  • Ensure the health, safety, and welfare of students during PE lessons and extracurricular activities.
  • Promote the school’s values and ethos, contributing to the overall development of a positive school culture.

Qualifications and Experience:


  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and a degree in Physical Education or a related field.
  • Proven experience teaching PE in a secondary school setting.
  • Strong knowledge of the National Curriculum for Physical Education.
  • Excellent organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • A passion for physical education and a commitment to promoting a healthy and active lifestyle.
  • Ability to inspire and motivate students of all abilities.
