People and Culture Assistant
Location : £22,681 per annum with incremental progression to £24,533
Salary: Lancaster

The Role
Now is a very exciting time to be joining them because they are delivering a new "Towards 2030" strategic plan focused on making the most of their three most valuable assets; People, Place and Partnerships, to become a catalyst for economic well-being for their region, nationally and internationally.
As a People & Culture Assistant, you will provide vital support to their Professional Services and Academic Institutes, ensuring the delivery of accurate, timely, and effective People & Culture services across the University.
Your role will involve liaising with a wide range of people within, and outside, the University and includes co-ordinating their staff recruitment (using their Stonefish e-Recruitment portal), pre employment checks, administration of data (using their ResourceLink HRIS system), drafting employment contracts and generally being an initial point of contact for People & Culture queries.
Skills and Qualifications
You will have experience of working in an administrative role and must be able to demonstrate awareness of data protection and information security best practice.
With a professional approach to providing high levels of customer service, you will be expected to establish and develop working relationships with recruiting managers.
Excellent organisational and communication skills are essential in addition to the ability to work effectively both independently and collaboratively as part of the wider team.
