To support these complex operations, the MoD partners with this Big4 Firm to empower critical thinking and drive value across its strategic initiatives and technology investments.The Role:As a Performance Tester, you'll be engaged in complex projects within the UK's defence, intelligence, and military agencies, defining complex performance test approaches and working closely with stakeholders to clarify non-functional requirements and ensure successful test delivery.Additionally, you will provide expert advice on testing tools, review and improve non-functional test practices, and collaborate with technical teams to deliver necessary test environments, data, and monitors.Required Skills/Experience:British Passport Holder with active DV (Developed Vetting) Clearance.Strong understanding and experience in the performance testing lifecycle, including planning, execution, and reporting, within an agile delivery environment.Proven ability to write, maintain, and execute performance test scripts using tools like JMeter, Gatling, K6, LoadRunner, or NeoLoad.Expertise in solution architecture for cloud applications (AWS, Azure, GCP) and AWS Cloud Certification, with other cloud providers beneficial.Proficient in application monitoring tools (Dynatrace, AppDynamics) and test management tools (JIRA, HP ALM).Strong technical skills paired with business acumen and a strong academic record.Client-facing experience with excellent interpersonal skills.ISTQB Foundation Level certificate (or equivalent experience).Demonstrated ability to lead small teams and work comfortably in fast-paced, changeable client environments.Experience in a top-tier consultancy with strong knowledge of Agile, Scrum, and Kanban.Familiarity with protocol-based monitoring tools (e.g., Fiddler) and experience in systems tuning and optimisation.Exposure to NFT in a DevOps environment and acute attention to detail.Benefits:Base Salary: £45,000 - £75,000 (DoE)Discretionary Bonus - 5%DV Bonus £7,000Flex Fund: £5,000Health: Private Medical InsuranceAnnual Leave: 25 Days plus Public Holidays + buy up to 10 additional daysL&D: Annual Performance/Salary Reviews + Training & Development BudgetPension: 8% Matched Pension + Group Personal Pension PlanLife Assurance: Up to a maximum of four times the Earnings CapOccupational Sick PayPersonal Accident InsuranceFor more information, apply below or contact us directly.Contact: 02077806706Reference: AMC/RKI
