Salary: Dependant on Experience

About the Role

As a Performing Arts Graduate Teaching Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting the Performing Arts department. This is a fantastic opportunity to gain hands-on experience in a vibrant educational setting, working closely with students to nurture their talents and passion for the arts.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist Performing Arts teachers in delivering engaging and inspiring lessons.
  • Provide one-on-one or small group support to students, helping them with practical and theoretical aspects of the curriculum.
  • Help to organise and supervise extracurricular activities, including rehearsals and performances.
  • Support the development and implementation of creative projects and school productions.
  • Assist with administrative tasks related to the Performing Arts department.
  • Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment, encouraging students to express themselves creatively and build their confidence.
Requirements
  • A degree in Performing Arts or a related field.
  • A passion for the Performing Arts and a desire to inspire young people.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Flexibility and a proactive approach to supporting the needs of the department.
  • Previous child-based experience is preferred but not essential.
  • A DBS check on the update service is required.
