Permanent Equine Veterinary Surgeon - Morpeth, NorthumberlandAre you a qualified and RCVS registered veterinary surgeon?Are you an equine vet looking for a new opportunity in Morpeth?Do you enjoy being part of a large practice which offers a varied caseload?We are recruiting on behalf of a mixed animal practice in Morpeth, Northumberland for a Permanent Equine Veterinary Surgeon to join their team. This role is full or part time for 2 to 4 days per week, along with 1 in 4 weekends and OOH work and on-call shifts on a rota.The Equine Vet will be responsible for providing first opinion care for both hospitalised and ambulatory cases. For those who wish to perhaps have a dip in small animal work as well this can be created.Type: EquineHours: Full or part time, 2 to 4 days per weekOOH: On a rotaComputer system: MerlinThe roleThe role will involve providing care to both hospitalised and ambulatory casesThe Vet will be responsible for providing a high standard of veterinary care and customer serviceThe Vet will be responsible to ensuring that there is excellent communication between themselves and the team and with clientsSmall animal work can be created also should the Vet wish to have a small animal caseloadFlexible rota patterns are available to suit lifestyle commitmentsAbout them:Established mixed animal hospitalEquine facilities include 4 stables, exam halls and stocks. Along with DR radiography, gastroscopy, ultrasound and more.They are fully equipped Hospital with all the toys and facilities including 6 consulting room, in house laboratory, separate cat and dog waiting areas, 4 theatres with radiography, endoscopy, dental and ultrasound suites.
