We have an exciting new opportunity for a Permanent Veterinary Surgeon to join a small animal practice in Christchurch, Dorset. This role is full time for 39 hours per week over 4 days, along with 1 in 3 half or 1 in 6 full weekends. There will be no OOH work or on-call duties.

The practice is looking for a confident Vet, someone who is confident in routine surgeries and consultations. The role will allow the Vet to grow their own client base and will involve a mix of consulting and operating. The Vet is also able to refer more complex cases to the nearby animal hospital in Poole.

This is a well-equipped first opinion practice with a small and friendly team.

You will be comfortable with routine surgeries and consultations

Facilities

The practices are fully equipped with all the latest diagnostic equipment and there is a wide range of state-of-the-art services available, including:

Package:

Salary: £60,000 to £70,000 per annum, commensurate to experience
Holidays: 5 weeks annual leave plus bank holidays
CPD: Generous allowance of £1,500 with 3 days to attend
Memberships: RCVS, VDS and BVA fees paid
