Are you a passionate and dedicated teacher with experience in Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND)?
Tradewind Recruitment is excited to announce an opportunity for an experienced Personal Development Teacher to join a fantastic SEND Secondary school in Litherland. The role is full-time, and you will work with students primarily with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), providing essential support to develop their social, emotional, and personal skills.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and deliver engaging lessons in Personal Development (PSHE) to secondary school students with ASD.
- Support students in building life skills, self-confidence, and emotional resilience.
- Create a positive, inclusive classroom environment that encourages personal growth.
- Work closely with the school's SEND team to ensure student's individual needs are met.
- Monitor student progress and adapt teaching strategies accordingly.
- Collaborate with parents and external agencies to support students' development.
The Ideal Candidate:
- Experience working with students with SEND, particularly ASD.
- Strong understanding of personal development and PSHE curriculum delivery.
- Passion for supporting children with complex needs to achieve their full potential.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- A positive, patient, and flexible approach to teaching.
