Job Title:�Pharmacy Assistant��

�Hours:

• 4 days on and 4 days off from 9am-9pm with some paid breaks.


• Monday-Friday 9am-6pm


• Weekends - 9-6pm

Essentials: Any form of pharmacy qualification or dispenser/dispensing NVQ 2�

Experience: At least 6 months recent UK pharmaceutical dispensing experience�

Duties:

Dispensing Medications:

Accurately counting, labelling, and preparing medications for patients based on prescriptions.�

Ensuring medications are dispensed according to standard operating procedures and regulations.�

Checking prescriptions for accuracy and completeness.�

Inventory Management:�

Maintaining accurate records of medication inventory using computerized systems.�

Monitoring expiration dates and ensuring proper rotation of stock.�

Assisting with ordering and receiving new stock.�

Warehouse �Operations:

Picking, packing, and preparing pharmaceutical products for shipment.�

Ensuring the warehouse is clean, organized, and maintained according to regulations.�

Assisting with the loading and unloading of shipments.�

Customer Service:

Answering customer inquiries about medications and procedures.�

Providing information and education to patients on their medications.�

Compliance and Safety:

Adhering to all health and safety protocols and regulations.�

Ensuring proper handling and storage of medications.�

Maintaining accurate records and documentation.�

Skills and Qualifications:

Knowledge of pharmacy procedures and regulations .

Strong attention to detail and accuracy.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team .

Good communication and customer service skills.

Computer literacy.

Experience in a pharmacy or warehouse setting is desirable.
