We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Pharmacy Manager to join a National Private Hospital Group in their Hospital located in the heart of Oxford. The Hospital covers a broad range of surgical specialties including Paediatrics, Oncology, Interventional Cardiology & Radiology, Orthopedics', Endoscopy, Gynaecology, Urology, Ophthalmology, Women & Men's health.





Hours: 37.5 per week, Monday to Friday 9am-5pm or 8am-4pm (No night shifts)





Pharmacy Manager Job Role:





You will adhere to medicine optimization policies and procedures, whilst providing oversight of Pharmaceutical stock procurement and delivering high quality clinical care and advice to patients and teams across a range of departments including ICU/HDU, the Pre-assessment clinic, Outpatient Department, Ward, Theatres and Oncology Team.





Who are we looking for?






  • Be registered with the General Pharmaceutical Council (No Restrictions on Practice)

  • Experience of working in a clinical setting as a Pharmacist is essential.

  • Leadership / managerial experience in a Hospital Pharmacy setting.

  • An awareness and knowledge of Oncology Pharmacy.

  • Share evidence based practices with colleagues to enhance service and standards The ability to make decisions and use your initiative.

  • Strong communication skills.

  • Passion to deliver excellent care in a rewarding and what can be emotionally challenging environment.

You will have excellent communication and organisational skills; have the ability to work under pressure and influence others whilst always maintaining a professional attitude. As a Pharmacy Manager it is important that you will be confident to work independently as well as a member of our larger health professional community, leading a team to always strive to improve the quality of our services for our patients.
