Job Description

JustPhysio are looking to recruit a band 6 Community Physiotherapist for a locum position with our client in Sutton. \n\nThe pay for this position is £17 - £20 per hour, and we are looking for someone who can start as soon as possible for an ongoing duration.\n\nExperience: NHS experience; Range of placements at graduate/undergraduate level; Pulmonary Rehabilitation experience\n\nSkills /Abilities : \nAble to work effectively as part of the MDT.\nAble to communicate effectively with patients, their carers, line manager and other members of the Physiotherapy Service, multi-disciplinary team and external agencies.\nAble to work effectively to meet the needs of the Community respiratory Service\nAble to work independent and unsupervised during community visits\nKnowledge of assessment tools and outcome measures; ale to travel frequently throughout the Borough within the working day. \nTo undertake evidence based audits to evaluate team's clinical practice.

\nTo make recommendations, which may result in the implementation of changes to practice or contribute to service protocols.\nTo participate in the pulmonary rehabilitation audit and research, along side senior therapist.\nTo provide therapeutic assessment for patients with long term respiratory conditions and to undertake, with guidance, all aspects of clinical duties to deliver clinically based, individualised treatment programmes as an autonomous practitioner within the community setting.\nTo provide a high standard of physiotherapy interventions to pulmonary rehabilitation services in a variety of community-based settings.\nThis involves working in a range of clinical settings i.e., community centres and health centres within the community. This includes working 5 days over a 7-day working week as the service demands. \nTo deliver patient education talks for pulmonary rehabilitation program under guidance of senior therapist.

\nTo hold responsibility for own caseload working without direct supervision; supervision takes the form of case reviews and peer review. Advice and support from a senior physiotherapist is available and clinical work is routinely evaluated.\nTo undertake evidence based audits to evaluate team's clinical practice. \nTo make recommendations, which may result in the implementation of changes to practice or contribute to service protocols.\nTo participate in the pulmonary rehabilitation audit and research, along side senior therapist\n\nIt is essential for applicants to have a minimum of 1-year post-graduate experience, right to work in the UK and HCPC registration.
