About the role:
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Physiotherapist to work as a Physiotherapy Manager to lead our dedicated Physiotherapy team at Spire Fylde Coast Hospital in Blackpool. This role is ideal for an experienced Physiotherapist looking to take the next step in their career or for an established Physiotherapy Manager seeking a new challenge.This bright and modern hospital boasts state of the art equipment and facilities. You will be joining a dynamic and supportive team dedicated to providing high-quality, patient-centered care.
Duties and Responsibilities:
As a Physiotherapy Manager, you will be responsible for:


  • Leading the physiotherapy department, ensuring the delivery of high-quality patient care and service improvement.
  • Developing and supporting your team through mentorship, training, and professional development opportunities.
  • Managing departmental resources, including budgeting, staffing, and equipment, to maintain efficient service delivery.
  • Collaborating with consultants and other healthcare professionals to implement innovative patient care solutions.
  • Overseeing compliance with clinical governance and quality standards, ensuring best practices in physiotherapy assessment and treatment.


Who we're looking for:


  • Qualifications: BSc (Hons) in Physiotherapy or equivalent.
  • Registration: Valid HCPC registration without restrictions.
  • Experience: At least 2 years of experience working as a Senior Physiotherapist, with a proven track record in a supervisory or management role.
  • Orthopaedic Experience: Essential experience in orthopaedic physiotherapy, including managing post-operative patients.
  • Skills: Strong leadership and communication skills with the ability to inspire and motivate a team.
  • Desirable: Experience in MSK physiotherapy.

Person Specification:
All applicants for the role of Physiotherapy Manager must have a bachelor's degree in Physiotherapy and a valid HCPC registration. Applicants must have full eligibility to live and work in the UK and must showcase strong leadership and patient care abilities.
