Picker And Packer

Summary

We seek a highly motivated and organized individual to join our warehouse team as a picker packer. The picker packer will be responsible for accurately selecting, packing, and preparing orders for shipping in a fast-paced warehouse environment.

Our orders are a variety of sizes and weights ranging from small literature packages and magazine add ons to inserting supplements into subscription packages.

Majority of work is light lifting.

Responsibilities

• Read and understand order sheets and picking lists.


• Accurately locate and retrieve products using computerized inventory systems.


• Pick and pack orders for shipment, verifying that the correct items and quantities are included.


• Secure items for shipping, use packing materials such as bubble wrap and foam sheets.


• Label boxes and packages correctly with shipping information


• Operate manual and electric pallet jacks, forklifts, and other warehouse equipment as needed.


• Follow all safety guidelines and procedures in the warehouse.


• Perform regular inventory counts and report any discrepancies to the warehouse supervisor.

Requirements

• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.


• Ability to lift and move heavy boxes and packages.


• Proficiency in using computerized inventory systems.


• Physical fitness and ability to stand for long periods.


• Previous experience in a warehouse setting is preferred but not required.
