The PIP Supply Chain Director is accountable for leading a network of supply chain partners responsible for delivering a contractual volume of PIP Assessments. In addition to the contractual performance volumes required, the role will also be accountable for the Supply Chain’s delivery of all FAS Target Performance Levels and ensuring that the service requirements and Social Value plans detailed in the FAS contracts are achieved.
Supported by a team including PIP Supply Chain Delivery Manager, PIP Clinical Lead, PIP Target Performance Level Manager and Coordinator, the PIP Supply Chain Director will be accountable for the direct performance management of all supply chain partners, their teams and individuals employed to deliver the contracted service. The PIP Supply Chain Director will also be responsible for defining and driving a continuous improvement strategy across and throughout the supply chain to ensure year on year performance improvement and effective collaboration.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
* Accountable for achievement of Target performance levels - Ensuring Assessment Quality is to required standards, including customer satisfaction. Reports performance to contract on a monthly cycle to the Director of Operations, Programme Director and Finance Director.
* Accountable for achievement of PIP Assessment Volume Target in line with monthly profile. Reports performance to contract on a monthly cycle to the Director of Operations, Programme Director and Finance Director.
* Overall responsibility for PIP Supply chain Partner relationship management; Development of a collaborative positive and engaging relationship across all PIP Supply Chain partners, working together sharing good practice and a ensuring a drive for continuous improvement across all aspects of performance
* Monitoring and evaluating systematic management of the supply chain partners against all delivery metrics through the governance structure. Supporting/coaching under-performing supply chain partners to improve any aspect of under-performance v expectation in line with contracts.
* Work with Commercial Director and Head of Procurement to negotiate contract variations and contract amendments on an annual basis
* Manage impact requests and all authority communications to the supply chain partners

Qualifications & Experience
Essential
* Proven senior leadership capability with a strong track record of leading and motivator of people operating both physically in teams and remotely
* Proven track record of successfully managing a Supply Chain contract/performance
* Track record of successful developing positively Senior Stakeholder relationships
* Experience of driving continuous improvement strategies to successful completion
* Demonstrable commercial and financial acumen
Desirable
* Extensive experience of working at a senior operational level delivering government contract.
