The Role
As a Pipe Fitter's Mate, you will support experienced pipe fitters in installing, repairing, and maintaining pipe systems associated with compressed air. This is an ideal role for someone looking to gain hands-on experience and develop their skills in pipe fitting.
Key responsibilities will include…
- Assisting pipe fitters with the installation, assembly, and maintenance of pipe systems
- Carrying tools, equipment, and materials to and from work areas
- Helping measure, cut, and thread pipes to the correct specifications
- Ensuring work sites are clean, organized, and adhere to safety standards
- Supporting the testing of systems for leaks or faults
- Following instructions and company guidelines to ensure quality workmanship

The Candidate
The ideal candidate for this Pipe Fitter's Mate opportunity will either have a basic knowledge of pipe fitting or a keen interest in learning, full training will be provided to the right candidate. This is a physical role with the ability to lift heavy equipment and perform physically demanding tasks required.
