Job description

The focus of the role is to complete multiple projects across customer sites throughout the Midlands/Corby offices .

Experience within boiler houses and plant rooms is preferred as projects will predominately be installation of new industrial steam boilers.
NVQ level 3 or equivalent in piping fitting / fabrication and welding processes is preferred but not essential. Welding processes for this position will typically be MMA and or TIG.
Daily duties will involve:
· Accurately measure up, sketch out and install pipework systems
· Part of a small team, reading sketches and engineering drawings
· Welding of ½” to 24” schedule pipework to class 1 standard
· Using fabrication tools such as welding plant, cutting plant oxy/acetylene, 4.5-9-inch angle grinders, drilling machines, pistol drills, chop saws, and general hand tools
In addition to daily duties, key tasks will include:
We are looking for someone that has excellent communications skills and can use their own initiative to work without constant supervision. You will need to hold a full UK driving licence and have 2 years’ experience or more.
Salary is based on experience, weekend and overtime work is always a possibility
All health and safety training is provided as well as transport when required
This is a permanent contract subject to completion of a satisfactory probation period
Core hours are 7.30-16.00 Monday to Friday, but flexibility to suit customer needs is expected
