Job Title: Pipe Fitter's Mate



Location: Berkshire



Salary: Up to �27,500 DOE per annum



Hours of Work: 37 hours per week. Overtime is calculated at x 1.5 for Monday - Friday, x 1.5 on Saturdays, and x 2.0 for Sundays and Bank Holidays.

Key Responsibilities:





  • Assist with Pipe Fitting: Work alongside experienced pipe fitters to help with the installation, maintenance, and repair of pipes and plumbing systems.




  • Supply Management: Ensure that the necessary materials, tools, and equipment are readily available for pipe fitting tasks.




  • Safety Compliance: Adhere to all safety regulations and protocols to maintain a safe working environment.




  • General Support: Provide general assistance to pipe fitters, such as holding pipes, handing them tools, and cleaning the work area.




  • Learn and Grow: Take the opportunity to learn and develop your skills in pipe fitting and related tasks from experienced professionals.





Qualifications and Requirements:





  • No formal qualifications required, but a strong work ethic and a willingness to learn are essential.




  • Basic knowledge of tools and construction processes is an advantage.




  • A valid driver's license and transportation to the job site is desirable.




  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.
