Pipefitter - Immediate Starts Available

Connect Appointments have an exciting new opportunity for an experienced Pipefitter to join our Kirkcaldy-based manufacturing client.

What's on offer?

• Full-time hours - 37 per week
\n
• Monday to Friday, 07:30 to 16:00 - with an early Friday finish
\n
• Base pay of £21 per hour
\n
• Overtime at £31.50 per hour
\n

\n

Your duties and responsibilities as a Pipefitter will include:

\n

\n
• Read detailed schematics for complex machines
\n
• Use hand tools and power tools to trim, cut and fit components into the final product.
\n
• Weld and solder pieces together
\n
• Align components and connect them with bolts and screws
\n
• Work with collaborative robots to produce and assemble components
\n
• Find faulty components in defective products to fix them
\n

\n

To be successful in this Pipefitter position you will ideally have previous experience. Combined with:

\n

\n
• A detail-orientated and methodical approach
\n
• Experience with various welding equipment
\n
• Ability to use electrical or manual tools
\n
• Understanding of technical documents and drawings
\n
• Manual skills and a steady hand
\n
• A good level of fitness and resilience
\n
• Knowledge of basic safety standards and willingness to use protective clothing
\n
