Job: Piping Supervisor
Rate: £25 - £28 phr
Hours: 38 hours per week minimum
Monday to Friday
Overtime: 1.5 after 8hrs Monday to Friday and Saturday AM. Double time is Saturday PM and Sunday
Start: ASAP
Based near Daventry at our clients workshop also site based for specific projects We have an opportunity for a supervisor to join a long-standing client of ours on a permanent basis. Our client has a workshop near Daventry where you will be based from, you will also be required to move to sites to oversee the installation of various phases of pipework.
The Successful candidate will oversee piping installations and welding activities and ensure the projects follows the required specification, safety standard and quality requirements. You will be responsible for following up on quality checks, ensuring compliance with industry codes and standards, and making sure that right corrective actions are implemented in the event of non-conformities.
We will be looking for candidates who have a problem-solving mindset, you will need to be proactive and resourceful in addressing on-site challenges, implementing corrective actions and ensuring that work aligns with project objectives and industry regulations.

We are looking for people who are able: ·Supervise onsite piping activities to ensure the project is completed on time.
·Conduct inspections and maintain quality control for all piping works.
·Coordinate with site teams and contractors to address technical issues.
·Work with project engineers. managers to arrange with contractors for crane lifts and scaffold erection / demobilisation.
·Ensure health and safety is inline with industry standards.
·Experience with different grades of materials such as stainless steel, carbon steel - low and high temp.
·Have experience working with ASME and EN standards.
Required previous experience:·SSSTS is essential
·CCNSG & or NEEBOSH/IOSH
·A minimum of 3 experience in supervising piping projects is essential.
·Strong understanding of piping systems and related construction processes
·Excellent leadership and communication skills
·Commitment to maintaining a high safety and quality standards.
