With over a decade of excellence in the HV Cabling Industry and an unwavering commitment to safety, our client is expanding their team. They're seeking an experienced Planning Engineer to join them on their journey of growth and innovation.

Operating across the UK and Europe, this role will involve exciting projects spanning the North of England and Scotland, requiring a willingness to travel.

As a Planning Engineer, you'll play a pivotal role in:


  • Managing change impact on programme and progress.
  • Collaborating with bid teams to produce outline programmes for tenders.
  • Developing NEC compliant programmes from first principles.
  • Identifying contract requirements and constraints.
  • Monitoring progress, analysing schedules and cost information, and reporting findings to management.

The ideal candidate will possess:


  • A degree or HNC in civil, mechanical, or electrical engineering.
  • Proven expertise as a Senior Planner/Planner on Civil and Power Projects.
  • Contractual awareness, preferably with NEC3 or NEC4 contracts.
  • Passion for promoting a safe working culture.
  • Proficiency in Primavera P6 software, with additional knowledge of Microsoft Project and other packages advantageous.
  • Must be willing to travel as required.
