Planning Manager (Manufacturing)

Excel Technical Consulting are currently seeking an experienced Planning Manager for a permanent position in the south of the UK to join well-known client focused on the production of aerospace components for companies such as BAE, Leonardo, and Raytheon to provide strategy and direction for all material and support functions to meet and exceed customer requirements.

The day-to-day responsibilities of this position will include, but are not limited to:

• Scheduling upcoming production projects and material usage.


• Taking account for inventory management and customer scheduling to enhance operational efficiency.


• Demand forecasting, capacity planning, and liaising with customers.


• Managing a group of up to 5 staff.


• Logistics and supply chain management.

Successful candidates for this position will have extensive experience within production planning and similar leadership roles inside a production environment including the management of aerospace material processes, candidates holding a qualification in planning, logistics or supply chain management would be preferable (although not essential). For this excellent opportunity, our client is offering an annual salary of up to �60k.
