Planning Solicitors/Barristers NQ – 1 years’ & 2+ years’ PQE/Call LONDON

Commercial law firm in London is looking to recruit two Planning Solicitors/Barristers one of 0 to 1 and the other 2 or more years PQE/Call. The Planning team at this law firm carries out work for a mixture of developers and housebuilders (on planning applications, legal challenges and planning enforcement matters), projects in town and country planning, highways, compulsory purchase, planning litigation, enforcement, DCO and infrastructure matters (including compensation). As well as advising on mainstream Planning law, the team deals with related systems and practice areas such as compulsory purchase, heritage law, environmental impact assessment, BNG, town/village greens, community infrastructure levy, and public rights of way. The successful candidates will work on a broad range of contentious and non-contentious Planning matters, including: highways matters and compulsory purchase work drafting and negotiating complex Section 106 agreements judicial review town and country planning footpath/highway closures infrastructure agreements and village green issues DCO Infrastructure projects (training can be provided within this area). You will be encouraged to take advantage of the wide range of training and guidance available to Planning lawyers in both Planning and related Environmental law. Furthermore, you will be expected to assist with the business development and marketing activities of the team. If you are already qualified you will currently specialise in Planning matters and if you are newly-qualified, ideally you will have undertaken a seat in Planning law. #J-18808-Ljbffr
