Here at ECS, we are recruiting for an experienced Plant Financial Analyst, a new and exciting opportunity working for my clients leading, global manufacturing organisation. The plant is based in Bangor, Ireland, however we can consider candidates remotely in the UK for this, with some travel expected.

  • Providing insights and establishing predictive analytics of financial performance to stakeholders to develop and improve upon Plant Financial P&L and Balance Sheet targets
  • Leading plant teams through annual forecasting of the Operating Plan for the plant and contributing to other forecasting processes
  • Ensuring compliance with global financial standards (GAAP)
  • Verifying that current products (SKUs) have appropriate costs during the annual inventory revaluation process
  • Improving ROI for all plant Capital Investments (AFE - Authorization For Expenditures)
  • Potentially supporting other plants as assigned

Experience & Qualifications required:

Bachelor's degree or higher in Accounting/Finance

Previous experience in Finance and/or Accounting, within a manufacturing/supply chain environment

Possessing an MBA, CMA, or CPA certification (desired, not essential)

Strong written and verbal communication skills

Advanced knowledge of Excel

Experience using SAP

Flexible work location: On-site in Bangor (Northern Ireland), Hybrid, or Remote

Travel expectations: May include up to 10% domestic (UK/Northern Ireland)
