Plant Fitter required at FM Conway!
FM Conway is looking to recruit a self-motivated and proactive individual to maintain and repair our wide range of heavy plant and small tools. This full-time permanent role will be based from our Dartford depot and offers a wide range of benefits including 23 days holiday plus bank holidays.
The duties of the Plant Fitter role will include:
- Maintaining our large fleet of heavy plant and small tools
- Completing paperwork following any maintenance activities
- Carrying out preventative and reactive maintenance on our wide range of plant
- Working safely and compliantly using risk assessments and method statements
- Challenging any unsafe practices
- Problem solving, identifying parts required and rectifying faults
What skills and experience do you need?
To be considered for this Plant Fitter role you must have knowledge of heavy plant including electrical and hydraulic systems. You will have an excellent understanding of the responsibilities that working within a workshop environment call for, ensuring safe systems of works are always followed and maintained. You will be IT literate and must have a full UK driving licence.
