Plant Operative

We are looking for a Plant Operative, reporting to the Manager, you will operate and maintain mobile plant machinery and provide cover at other sites, as and when required.

Duties

• Operate fixed and mobile plant as instructed by the manager in a correct and safe manner.
• Carry out repair and maintenance work on fixed and mobile plant.
• Cover for the Foreman or Weighbridge Operator in their absence.

Skills

• Previous experience using mobile plant including dumpers, loading shovel and 360� excavators in a similar environment and hold certified tickets.
• Mechanical knowledge.

Hours are Monday - Friday 7am - 5pm

Overtime rates are 1.5 for Monday - Sat and double time for Sundays and bank holidays,
