Mechanically biased PTE Technicians required to join a new team helping to effectively repair and manage on site owned plant tools and equipment for the MEH Alliance on site at Hinkley Point C. Overall responsibility for overseeing and completing service, inspection, repair, installation and testing of mechanical equipment. Suitable applicants must have:
Knowledge of plant and equipment with a good understanding of maintaining, inspecting and servicing power tools, LEV equipment, generators, compressors, mobile plant and other mechanical plant
Ability to carry out fault-finding diagnostics
Understanding of LOLER and PUWER regulations
Computer/IT literate
Understanding of LEV, welding and general calibration data and procedures for survey equipment
Current rates are in line with ECSA Mechanical Site Agreement, Craft 4 (PAYE) as below however they will be subject to an increase in January 2025 (TBC):
Basic £26.15
OT1 £36.61
OT2 £47.07
Bonus Up to £2.62
Lodge Allowance: £48.16 per day (£337.12 per week)
Periodic Travel: Return Rail Fare & Travel Time
Holidays: 25 days plus publics
Required qualifications:
NVQ Level 2 in Plant or Machinery Maintenance
CCNSG Safety Passport
