Plasterer

Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Plasterer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in plastering techniques and be proficient in using various tools and equipment. This role involves working on social housing properties, ensuring high-quality finishes and adherence to safety standards.

This role will require you to use your own van and will be long term subcontracting work.

Responsibilities

• Apply plaster to walls and ceilings, ensuring a smooth and even finish.


• Prepare surfaces by cleaning, repairing, and applying bonding agents as necessary.


• Use hand tools and power tools effectively to achieve desired results.


• Work alongside other construction professionals, including bricklayers and carpenters, to coordinate tasks.


• Conduct repairs on existing plasterwork as required.


• Maintain a clean and safe work environment, adhering to health and safety regulations.


• Assist in the installation of plasterboard where necessary.

Experience

• Proven experience as a Plasterer or in a similar role within the construction industry is essential.


• Familiarity with power tools, hand tools, and masonry techniques is required.


• Social housing experience


• Ability to work at heights, including roofs, safely and effectively.


• Strong attention to detail with a commitment to delivering high-quality workmanship.


• Excellent communication skills for effective collaboration with team members.
