Plumber Multi Trade

Gilmartins is a family owned and run business; our staff are valued and our ethos is to promote from within. Our Board of Directors mostly started on the tools themselves so have a ‘hands-on’ understanding of the work we do.

We work in social housing and provide reactive repairs for local authorities and housing associations.

Gilmartins are looking to recruit a qualified and experienced Plumber Multi Trader with additional trades such as basic carpentry & electrics, patch plastering, tiling skills. The ideal trades person will have worked in social housing.

The job requires work and travel in the South West London area (Lambeth, Merton, Sutton).

Properties are situated across all of these areas so there will be regular travel as a requirement of the job.

Experienced Plumber Multi Trader:

The role is to -

* Carry out property repairs and maintenance works – social housing

* Working to Scope of Works on PDA for each job

Requirements for Job:

* Qualified to Level 2 or 3 in Plumbing

* Full UK driving license – not EU licence

* Own tools

* Experience of working in social housing

* CSCS Skilled Worker card

* DBS certificate

Hours of work are 8am - 5pm Monday to Friday with 1 Saturday or Sunday in 4 required (Saturday or Sunday paid at standard rate in addition to salary)
