Social Housing Maintenance Carpenter - NW London

Role Overview:

As a Social Housing Maintenance Carpenter, your daily responsibilities will include:

• Carrying out carpentry repairs and maintenance work within social housing properties


• Responding to emergency and scheduled maintenance requests from tenants and property managers


• Ensuring all work is completed to the highest standards of quality and safety


• Conducting property inspections to identify areas requiring maintenance or repairs


• Collaborating with other tradespeople and contractors to ensure efficient and effective service delivery

Skills & Experience:

• Proven experience as a Carpenter, ideally within the social housing or maintenance sector


• A good understanding of general maintenance work, including basic plumbing and plastering (desirable)


• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently


• Excellent communication skills and a customer-focused attitude


• Full UK Driving Licence


• Trade qualification (NVQ, City & Guilds, or equivalent) is preferred

Job Details:

• Salary: £42k per year - CIS payment


• Location: North West London


• Contract: Temp to perm opportunity
