Overview

We are seeking a skilled Pipefitter to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong mechanical aptitude and the ability to read and interpret schematics. This role involves constructing, assembling, and maintaining piping systems in various settings. The Pipefitter will work with a range of materials and tools, ensuring that all installations meet industry standards and safety regulations.

Duties

• Build and assemble piping systems according to specifications.


• Weld pipes using appropriate techniques to ensure durability and safety.


• Read and interpret schematics to understand project requirements.


• Maintain existing piping systems, performing repairs as necessary.


• Use power tools effectively for cutting, shaping, and joining pipe materials.


• Solder joints to create secure connections in plumbing systems.


• Apply basic maths skills for accurate measurements and calculations.


• Collaborate with other tradespeople to ensure seamless project execution.

Experience

• Proven experience as a Pipefitter or in a similar role is preferred.


• Strong mechanical knowledge is essential for troubleshooting and problem-solving.


• Familiarity with various welding techniques and tools is advantageous.


• Experience in plumbing or related fields will be considered an asset.


• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team is crucial for success in this role.
