Plumbing and Heating Engineer

Location: Home Counties/Areas in London

Salary: £45,000 + (+ Van + Fuel Card + Overtime)

Hours: Monday to Friday from 8am to 5pm

They are a highly regarded company based in Berkshire. Covering West London, Berkshire and surrounding areas, occasionally going into central London. They offer a competitive and reliable service to each of their customers, regardless of contract size. They accommodate anything from a dripping tap, boiler breakdown and service to a full heating system installation, whilst maintaining consistently high standards. The Role

In order to meet growing demand, they are looking for a skilled Heating Engineer who wants to be, and feel, integral to the success of the business. The ideal candidate will be a fully qualified general domestic plumber and heating engineer able to carry out repairs on rental and privately owned properties.

Key Responsibilities


  • Installations of boilers
  • Tap repairs and replacements
  • Landlord's gas safety
  • Investigating and repairing leaks
  • Toilet and basin installations and repairs
  • Cylinder and tank upgrades
  • Boiler Services
  • Boiler repairs / breakdowns
  • Fault finding on smart/central heating controls.
  • Under floor heating repairs
  • General plumbing
  • Carrying out general ad hoc heating work

 Skills & Experience


  • Must be Gas Safe registered.
  • Oftec certification would be desirable, but not essential
  • You must be presentable and be able to communicate with customers.
  • The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 5 years’ experience in a similar role.
  • You will be undertaking reactive & planned maintenance, moving from job to job throughout the day / week, working primarily in residential properties so you must be organised and reliable
  • You'll need your own basic tools, flue analyser and a full UK driving licence.
