Portfolio Manager - Real Estate FinanceHybrid Working - 2 days per week in the North London office.Excellent Package & Bonus StructureAbout the Company:Our client is a highly successful lender, with multiple regional hubs across the country.They focus on short-term residential, commercial property investment as well as light and heavy refurbishment works and ground-up development finance.This role will be supporting the London origination team who are scaling their team in-line their growth aspirations.About the Portfolio Manager - Real Estate FinanceAs the Assistant Relationship Manager - Real Estate Finance you will have an exciting opportunity to develop both your technical and client servicing skills in an origination team who focus on clients with typical borrowings up to £15m in residential/commercial investment, bridging and residential development financing.A great opportunity to independently assess, evaluate, negotiate prepare and submit loan applications to Credit, meeting the Company Lending requirements.Support the BDM team, monitoring the loan book to minimise risk and seek opportunities to enhance income.Understand and identify any sales opportunities to meet objectives.Deliver first class customer service with efficient delivery through working with team members to ensure effective execution and delivery of loan products to the customer base and prospectsKeep abreast with current market conditions and competitor activity. Propose changes to products and / or credit policy as appropriate.As a Portfolio Manager - Real Estate Finance your responsibilities and duties will include:Analyse financial and non-financial information as part of the credit application process.Assess, prepare and submit credit applications.Support and oversee deals from submission to completion, proactively chasing all partiesComplete AML reviews.Contribute to the growth and profitability of the officeMonitor loans to ensure that they perform as anticipated and identify early warning indicators of stress and action accordinglyMonitor loans to ensure that as they near maturity, a clear exit and repayment plan is identified and monitor to ensure a timely clearance of the exposureDesired Skills and Competencies of the Portfolio Manager - Real Estate FinanceProfessional, enthusiastic, flexible and committed with a strong work ethicStrong attention to detailAnalyticalEffective team playerAbility to build rapport with people at all levels in the business whilst retaining a high level of professionalismFor more information about the Portfolio Manager - Real Estate Finance or to apply send your CV now.
