Role Overview:

As a Post 16 Teaching Assistant, you will work closely with teachers and support staff to ensure students aged 16+ receive the best possible education and care. This role offers the chance to build meaningful relationships with students and help them achieve their academic and personal goals.

Responsibilities:

• Provide one-on-one and group support to Post 16 students, ensuring they stay engaged and motivated.
• Assist teachers in delivering lessons tailored to the needs of Post 16 learners.
• Offer emotional and social support to students, helping them overcome challenges.
• Collaborate with the school staff to implement effective strategies for student success.
• Maintain a safe and inclusive classroom environment.

Requirements:

• Previous experience working as a Post 16 Teaching Assistant or with young adults is advantageous.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• A patient, empathetic, and adaptable approach to student needs.
• Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of students.
• A willingness to learn and contribute positively as a Post 16 Teaching Assistant.
