My Client is well established, industry leading Engineering company. Based in Thirsk area , they have seen year on year success, with further growth plans for 2025. An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Powder Coater to join their team on a Temporary to Permanent basis.This opportunity gives a Powder Coater the chance to work with one of the most respected companies in the North-East. The Powder Coater will cover either:

\n

\n
• Monday to Thursday 7:00am- 4:45 pm and Friday 7:00am-11:00pm
\n

\n

\n

Main Duties:

\n

\n
• Selecting paint powder from stock and preparing both the spray booth and powder coating guns for each new job
\n
• Performing frequent change overs of colour
\n
• Spraying parts of various size and ensuring paint thickness and gloss levels are correct on finished product
\n
• Maintaining high quality standards at all times for standard and bespoke products
\n
• Active contribution in maximising plant efficiency
\n
• Proactive communication with supervisors, managers and Quality Control regarding production, quality and H&S issues
\n
• Maintaining H&S standards following instructions and wearing of appropriate PPE
\n
• Regular quality checks including visual and taking measurements
\n
• Completing paperwork
\n

Role Requirements:

\n
• Previous experience of working on a busy paint production line
\n
• Good Engineering Background
\n
• Strong problem solving skills
\n
• Ability to inspect own work
\n
• Ability to read engineering drawings
\n
• Excellent eye for detail
\n
• Flexibility with regards to shifts and over-time
\n
