Reports To:GES Operations Manager Minimum Qualifications/Experience: Must be qualified to Diploma/Degree level in Electronic/Electrical Engineering (or similar). Must have a minimum of 4 years experience in Industry. Must have experience using power analysers and experience using electrical software packages. Must have the ability to work as part of a team, operate under minimal supervision and prioritise tasks effectively for best productivity. Must be self-motivated individual who has strong problem-solving skills. Main Duties and Tasks: We are looking for an experienced Power Quality Engineer to join a growing company with a reputation for innovation and excellence in engineering. The Engineer will be working with existing and potential customers, through-out Northern Ireland. The Engineers responsibilities and duties will include survey to assess, quantify and/or investigate the following: G5/4-1 and G5/5 compliance assessments load profile/trends on key supplies supply efficiency and cost reduction opportunities flicker, sag, and other phenomena harmonic related problems fault investigation Power Quality health check Any other ad hoc duties.
