PPA Cover Teacher

On behalf of my client school in Droylsden, Tradewind are recruiting a full-time PPA cover teacher to start after half-term until at least July with the potential to be extended into the new academic year. The school will pay a competitive salary of up to £160 per day and are keen to appoint someone with strong subject knowledge, a great team player and someone willing to make a positive impact on the lives and learning for children.

About the School

The school is a two-form entry set up with average class sizes and higher than aver % FSM. As a result, the successful candidate must be able to utilize effective behaviour management strategies, but you will also be supported by TA's who have strong relationships with the children. The staff at this school are friendly, supportive, dedicated professionals and share the same vision to support pupil progress with children at the heart of all decisions.

PPA Cover

As the PPA cover teacher, you will predominantly be covering KS2 classes across the week but some timetabling will be in KS1. Therefore, strong subject knowledge across both key stages will be crucial to your success as will the ability to change your teaching style and approach to suit different year groups.
