PPA Teacher

Flourish Education is currently recruiting for a PPA Teacher (Planning, preparation and assessment) to work in a First school covering Years Reception to Year 4 in Redditch, to join their team. The school has recently been rated ‘good’ by OFSTED.

The school requires a full time PPA Teacher to cover classes from Year Reception to Year 4. This will start from October to the end of the academic year.

As a PPA Teacher, you will not be expected to plan lessons, but will be required to teach pre-planned lessons in a fun and engaging way. Other responsibilities will include marking pupil’s work and carrying out any assessments required by the class teacher. This role would suit an experienced teacher who loves being with the children but is looking to improve that all-important work/life balance!

You will have high expectations of pupil behaviour, work well as part of a team alongside the teaching assistants and be dedicated to creating a positive learning environment.

Required skills and experience for this PPA Teacher Role:

• QTS (Qualified Teacher Status)
• Excellent knowledge of the Primary curriculum
• High expectations of pupil behaviour
• The ability to plan and deliver lessons across different year groups
• To be able to work in partnership with class TA and other staff members
• To create a safe, engaging, and positive learning environment
