We are currently recruiting for a PPC Marketing Executive for a rapidly expending eCommerce company. 

The company are leading marketers and manufacturers of a diverse range of products for businesses, schools and government organisations. They are based in beautiful Poole, Dorset with 120,000 square feet of warehouse, factory and office space, and employ a team of over 200 fantastic people. They are also one of the top spenders with Google within our sector and have regular dedicated face to face account management at their offices in London.

Main Purpose

Working within the "in-house agency" the PPC Specialist will be responsible for continuing our ongoing paid advertising through hands-on management and in-depth analysis.

The PPC Marketing Executive will be able to identify, propose and implement changes and improvements to key fundamentals of their paid search campaigns to drive sales and improve conversion.

Duties and Responsibilities


  • Responsible for the management and optimisation of PPC accounts and paid advertising, including shopping campaigns across the group.
  • Creating, implementing, and testing campaigns across various platforms including Google Ads, Microsoft/Bing Ads and Amazon Advertising.
  • Management of Google merchant centre and shopping feeds.
  • Running and Analysis of reports to identify opportunities for investment/divestment such as Search Query Reports, Device Analysis, Impression Shares and more.
  • Collaborate with agencies, vendors and partners as required including planning and expenditure.
  • Always questioning how we can maximise the benefit of our investment by remaining at the leading edge of advertising techniques across Google Ads, Microsoft Ads and more.
  • Running improvement tests across our advertising to find optimal ways of investing more for improved performance.
  • Dependant on experience, could include day to day management of direct report.

About You


  • Articulate, analytical and methodical            
  • Results driven and highly motivated with a problem-solving attitude       
  • Sound judgement and the ability and willingness to make decisions
  • Ability to gather, manipulate and analyse data to inform decisions           
  • Knowledge and working hands-on with Google Ads and Microsoft Ads, including Search, Performance Max and shopping campaigns.

Desirable Experience:


  • 1+ years of hands-on experience in pay-per-click (PPC) across Google Ads and Microsoft Ads, including shopping and merchant centre management.
  • Responsibility for reporting on PPC KPIs across and up reporting chains.             
  • Experience working collaboratively with internal colleagues to develop PPC opportunities     
  • Experience with writing Ad Copy and A/B testing improvements
  • Google Ads and Analytics Certified
  • Working knowledge of Google Merchant Centre and shopping feed management.        
  • Knowledge of Bidding Types, Campaign Types, Audiences and Scheduling.       
  • Knowledge of Google Analytics (GA4)

Hours of work:

9am to 5pm Monday to Friday

Salary:

Up to £30k per annum depending on experience.
