From bags and accessories to leather-bound notebooks, diaries, stationery and home accessories; every Smythson piece embodies meticulous craft and an unmistakable sense of British sophistication.The PR and Partnership Manager will be responsible for spearheading our PR and influencer strategy, ensuring that our brand maintains its esteemed reputation and continues to grow its presence in the market. You will lead efforts to build and nurture relationships with media, influencers, and strategic partners, enhancing our brand visibility and positioning. Key responsibilities will include:PR Strategy Development and Execution:• Develop and implement comprehensive PR strategies that align with the brand’s objectives and heritage.• Create compelling press releases, media kits, and other PR materials.• Manage media relations, including pitching stories, coordinating interviews, and handling media inquiries.Influencer Strategy and Management:• Develop and execute an influencer strategy to increase brand awareness and engagement.• Identify, recruit, and manage relationships with influencers who align with the brand’s values and target audience.• Coordinate influencer campaigns, ensuring seamless execution and maximum impact.Partnerships and Collaborations:• Identify and develop strategic partnerships with complementary brands, organizations, and events to enhance brand visibility.• Plan and execute exclusive brand events, including product launches, VIP experiences, and press events.• Oversee the creation of engaging content for PR and partnership initiatives, including social media, blog posts, and newsletters.A minimum of 5 years experience is needed for this role. The successful candidate will come from a fashion or luxury background and have a strong commercial and strategic focus. Excellent appreciation and understanding of the luxury fashion industry is key, with comprehension of key industry profiles, trends, and publications on a global level. This could be a fantastic role for someone looking to move from an agency. You will need to have a sense of urgency and the ability to work in fast paced environments whilst having excellent organisation skills.
