Randstad are currently recruiting for a Practice Development Officer to join Liverpool City Council. This is a full time role, offering £42 per hour.

You must be a registered children's social worker who can support and mentor the learners within Liverpool's Workforce Development Team, ideally having worked in this role as a Practice Development Officer previously, having developed and led a newly qualified social worker programme (ASYE).

Responsibilities:

• You will be a Practice Educator.
• You will develop and deliver a clear and robust learner programmes to support the Continuous Professional Development of all our social care workforce through bespoke programmes, i.e. ASYE, Apprenticeships, Step-ups.
• You will be confident in designing and delivering comprehensive high quality training sessions, applying your wealth of knowledge of children's legislation, case management, policies, frameworks and procedures.
• You will have extensive experience in supervising and/or mentoring social care workforce members, as well as supporting our Practice Educators.
• You will be an advocate of promoting good practice across the organisation, undertaking audits and support our Quality Assurance Service.

Requirements:

• Social Work Degree or equivalent
• Enhanced DBS
• Social Work England registered
