Practice Director – Cyber Security Engineering / Cyber Technical SolutionsOur client a leading global pure-play Cyber Security Consultancy is looking to hire a Practice Director to run and develop the Cyber Security Engineering / Cyber Technical Solutions practice.As the Practice Director, you will inspire a team of expert cyber security engineers / technical consultants and shape the future of the practice. You will create and drive a strategy that elevates services, fosters growth, and champions innovation while ensuring the team remains on the cutting edge of industry trends and technology advancements.The ideal candidate will have a solid cyber engineering technical background and proven experience across the implementation of Cyber Security controls – NIST framework, Threat Modelling, Ransomware readiness - technical controls DLP, IT / Network Security Configuration and CloudStack implementation.This is a Senior Practice Director role that requires commercial expertise in developing and growing a practice, developing clients (new and existing), development of strategic service lines and go to market strategy, hiring and retention of team and ability to engage with clients / senior stakeholders to develop long term client relationships.Key Responsibilities - Practice Director – Cyber Security EngineeringService Excellence:Own and enhance service offerings, including developing sales support materials, client presentations, delivery methodologies, training programs, and operational guidelines.Direct the research and development of new tools and processes to keep services ahead of market trendsStrategic Growth:Drive revenue and profit growth by meeting and exceeding targets aligned with the practice plan.Expand service portfolio by staying attuned to client needs and industry developments.Team Leadership:Build and mentor a high-performing team of consultants, ensuring they have the necessary training and certifications.Foster a collaborative and inclusive team culture that encourages innovation and continuous learning.Client Engagement:Elevate service awareness within the sales community and directly to clients.Serve as the primary contact for new client opportunities, ensuring senior consultants provide bespoke proposals that meet client needs.Oversee the delivery of high-quality services to our clients, ensuring excellence at every step.Marketing and Research:Partner with marketing and product management teams to develop compelling content, blog posts, and presentations.Review and contribute to practice-specific research proposals, ensuring alignment with innovation directives.Skills required - Practice Director – Cyber Security Engineering Cyber Engineering Technical background: across areas including cyber security technical implementation, cyber security network configuration, implementation of cyber security controls and frameworks, security operations, data loss prevention (DLP), vulnerability management, SIEM & SOAR Client-Centric: Prioritise client needs and deliver exceptional customer service.Team-Oriented: Collaborate effectively and promote a one-team mentality.Excellence Driven: Strive for excellence in every aspectPerformance Enabler: Empower your team to achieve their best.
