Days: 3-5 Days per week



Location: Various locations across Liverpool to choose from



Setting: GP Surgery



Rates: �30 per hour



Overview



We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Practice Nurse to join our healthcare team. The Practice Nurse will play a crucial role in providing high-quality nursing care to our patients in a primary care setting. The ideal candidate will be passionate about improving patient outcomes and enhancing the patient experience.



Responsibilities




  • Conducting patient assessments and providing nursing care in accordance with best practices and clinical guidelines

  • Administering medications and vaccinations as prescribed by the healthcare provider

  • Assisting with patient education and health promotion initiatives

  • Collaborating with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive and coordinated patient care

  • Maintaining accurate and up-to-date patient records and documentation

  • Participating in quality improvement initiatives and continuing education to enhance nursing skills



Qualifications




  • Degree in Nursing and current registration with the relevant nursing regulatory body

  • Proven experience as a Practice Nurse in a primary care or community health setting

  • Strong clinical skills and knowledge of evidence-based nursing practices

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

  • Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary healthcare team

  • Commitment to ongoing professional development and education



Day-to-day



As a Practice Nurse, you will spend your days providing direct patient care, collaborating with healthcare professionals, and engaging in continuous learning to stay current with best practices. Your role will involve conducting patient assessments, administering medications, educating patients on health management, and contributing to the overall well-being of our community.
