Pre-construction Manager

Build Recruitment has just partnered with one of the fastest growing contractors in the property services sector with their search for a Pre-construction Manager.

The company provides a wide range of building services across the UK, including refurbishment, modernisation, and planned maintenance. They are accredited and specialise in roofing, cladding, and coatings, delivering quality solutions to both public and private sector clients. Their projects range from residential recladding to specialist coatings in high-security facilities. They maintain a strong commitment to sustainability and quality assurance. Current projects include significant housing repairs and maintenance programmes for various councils.

Mandatory:

• Possess strong technical expertise to coordinate a design team, meet deadlines, and manage the pre-construction schedule.
• Must have refurbishment experience in residential buildings, not just new builds.
• Proficient in MS Projects, capable of creating programmes from scratch.
• Able to write project execution plans, including logistics, method statements, and construction phase plans.
• Understand and support the tender process, enhancing quality submissions.
• Knowledgeable in temporary works.
• Computer literate.
• Hold a valid driving licence and willing to travel as required.

Desirable:

• Capable of drafting service scopes for consultants and developing deliverables lists with them.
• Understanding of two-stage tendering and JCT PCSA – JCT D&B contracts.
• Strong commercial awareness.
• Membership or working towards professional membership.

Benefits:
