Preceptorship Mental Health Nurse - Low Secure Rehabilitation


  • Service Type: Specialist Mental Health Rehabilitation Services for Males and Females in a low secure environment
  • Salary:  
  • Newly Qualified Preceptorship                              £38,840.00 p/a ( £18.91 Per Hour )
  • Up to 2 years post Preceptorship                               £41,020.00 p/a ( £19.97 per hour )
    2+ years post Preceptorship                                    £44,240.00 p/a ( £21.54 per hour )
  • Hours: Full Time and Part Time hours are available - you can choose depending on your preference
  • Shifts: ideally mixed shifts though flexibility can be provided

Appoint Healthcare are proud to partner with an extremely reputable leading national provider of health and social care services for young people and adults with mental health needs and learning disabilities. An exciting opportunity has arisen for a newly qualified preceptorship nurse Mental Health Nurse ( RMN ) or Learning Disability Nurse ( RNLD ) Either Full or Part Time. Located in Pontypridd, this is a Specialist Hospital for adults with Mental-ill Health and Service users are cared for in one of Four units depending on their unique needs. We can offer both full and part time roles subject to preference
Requirements


  • A relevant nursing qualification ( RMN or RNLD )
  • A valid NMC registration with no restrictions
  • Eligibility to live and work in the UK
  • Strong team-working skills
  • A high level of self-motivation and a flexible approach
  • A positive attitude and be naturally caring and compassionate
  • A commitment to high-quality care and to values and evidence-based practice 


Preceptorship nurses:
In the case of newly qualified nurses ( Mental Health Nurse , Learning Disability Nurse ), the service offers a fantastic preceptorship programme. They have a good number of experienced staff to support and mentor newly qualified nurses.
Training / Induction and opportunities for development and progression:
The Service offers a structured and thorough 2 week induction programme, which will include various training courses. You will also have access to clear and structured development programmes where you can see clear pathways to progression within the company. Training and development is one of the major ethos' of the company. There are no limits to training and development as the service will fund any training course you would like to do that is relevant to your job role.
