As a Prefabrication Design Coordinator, you will play a key role in managing and coordinating the design and development of prefabricated M&E systems. You will work closely with design teams, engineers, and project managers to ensure seamless integration of prefabrication techniques, optimizing efficiency and quality.

Key Responsibilities:
Design & Coordination:
  • Oversee the design and development of prefabricated M&E components, ensuring alignment with project requirements.
  • Coordinate with internal and external design teams to optimize prefabrication solutions.
  • Review and assess design models, drawings, and specifications for prefabrication feasibility.
Collaboration & Stakeholder Management:
  • Work closely with project managers, engineers, and fabrication teams to ensure smooth production and installation.
  • Liaise with suppliers and subcontractors to ensure the highest quality and cost-effective prefabrication solutions.
  • Ensure compliance with client requirements, industry regulations, and company standards.
Process Improvement & Innovation:
  • Identify opportunities to enhance prefabrication processes, reducing waste and improving efficiency.
  • Implement best practices for modular and prefabricated M&E system designs.
  • Stay updated on industry trends and advancements in prefabrication technology.
Quality Assurance & Compliance:
  • Ensure all prefabricated components meet relevant safety, quality, and compliance standards.
  • Conduct design reviews and inspections to guarantee precision and adherence to project specifications.
  • Support BIM (Building Information Modelling) processes for prefabrication integration.
Qualifications and Skills:
  • Experience in M&E prefabrication, design coordination, or modular construction.
  • Strong understanding of mechanical and electrical building services design.
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, and BIM software for design coordination.
  • Excellent problem-solving and communication skills to manage stakeholders effectively.
  • Knowledge of industry regulations and prefabrication best practices.
Education and Experience:
  • Degree or HNC/HND in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering, Building Services, or a related field.
  • Experience in M&E prefabrication, modular construction, or off-site manufacturing.
  • Previous experience working with contractors, consultants, and fabrication teams.
