Press Assistant

• Holidays: 13 days per year


• Shifts: 12 hours (07:00-19:00 / 19:00-07:00), 5-shift pattern averaging 33 hours a week.

No previous experience is required as full training will be provided. However, experience in operating machinery or working in a manufacturing enviroment is beneficial.

Key responsabilities:�

• Assist printers in daily press operations, including webbing up the press, operating stackers, pallestisers and sheeters.�


• Learn how to handle and prepare printing plates.�


• Monitor print quality throughout the production.


• Operate the reel stand, prepare reels, and handle end-of-job tasks such as paperwork, wrapping and labeling.�

Pay rates:�

Starting rate: �20,000pa + �4000pa payment made monthly (�13.99 phr)

Fully trained rate: �23,597pa + �4000pa down manning (�16.08)
