Job Title: Press Brake Operative/Setter – Temp to Perm
Location: Blackburn
Salary: £14 Per hour PAYE | £17.86 Per hour Umbrella Ltd
Hours: 39 Hours per week
Are you an experienced Press Brake Operative/Setter looking for a new opportunity with long-term potential? Service Care Solutions are working with a client who are currently seeking a skilled and reliable individual to join their growing team on a temporary to permanent basis.
About the company: A provider of a range of vehicle services to customers and manufacturer of a number of high quality commercial vehicle builds and tipper bodies.
Key Responsibilities:

\n
• Set up programming and operate press brake machinery in accordance with production specifications.
\n
• Interpret and work from engineering drawings and work instructions.
\n
• Perform quality checks to ensure components meet the required standards.
\n
• Load and unload material onto machines
\n
• Adjust machine settings as needed for material type, thickness, and desired bend.
\n
• Ensure guillotine cuts the material correctly.
\n
• Maintain a clean and safe working environment.
\n
• Work collaboratively with team members to meet production targets and deadlines.
\n

Requirements:

\n
• Proven experience operating and setting press brake machinery (e.g. Amada, Trumpf, Bystronic, etc.).
\n
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and plans.
\n
• Good mechanical aptitude and attention to detail.
\n
• Flexibility to work different shifts if required.
\n
• A positive, proactive attitude and strong work ethic.
\n
