Press Brake Operator

Press Brake Operator, up to £14.00 per hour (dependent on experience), Monday to Friday with a 36-hour workweek and an early finish on Fridays. Free parking provided.

We are seeking a skilled Press Brake Operator to join our well-established family-run business in Chard. As a Press Brake Operator, you will use your expertise in operating press brake machinery to fabricate and assemble sheet metal components.

As a member of our small team, you will be responsible for:

• Operating press brake machinery to bend and form sheet metal according to specifications.
• Setting up and adjusting press brake machine settings for optimal performance.
• Using hand tools and equipment to finish products to a high standard.

To be successful in this role, you must demonstrate previous experience in:

• Press Brake Operation or a similar role.
• Grinding, sheet metal fabrication, and assembly techniques.
• Troubleshooting machine issues and making necessary adjustments.
• Reading and interpreting technical drawings and specifications.
• Working in a safe and timely manner.
