Press Brake Operator

An excellent opportunity has arisen for an experienced Press Brake Operator to join a well-established engineering business on a permanent basis, working days, Monday to Thursday and 3pm finish on Friday, with an hourly rate of upto �17.50 per hour along with regular overtime and free parking.
They specialise in providing a range of metal forming processes to meet their client's needs, with state-of-the-art equipment, due to rapid growth and future plan, including the imminent arrival of a second laser, they are looking for an experienced Press Brake Operator to add to the current team.
Press Brake Operator Duties:

• Setting and operating Press Brake Machines
• Batch work and one-off assignments
• Ability to understand technical drawings and apply technical information
• Inspecting and maintaining quality control before and after production
• Cross checking & completing all necessary paperwork
• Assisting in other areas when required

Experience and knowledge:

Essential:

• Experience as a lead operator on a Press Brake
• Ability to read an interpret detailed engineering drawings
• Experience of working on a shop floor in a manufacturing setting
• Knowledge of a variety of steel alloy grades

Desired:

• FLT experience
• Experience of working in a sub-contracting press brake setting
• Ability to prioritise your own workload
