We are currently looking for a Press Brake Operative who is responsible for the daily setup and operation a press brake machine at one of our clients.  This is a temporary to permanent position in Goole, working Monday to Friday 07.30 - 16.30 and paying £16.00 per hour.

Duties will include:

• Produce components from engineering drawings, aided by jigs and templates.
• Operating to a high standard and fully understands comprehensive bend symbols and technical data on engineering drawings.
• Problem solving
• Capable of understanding more advanced drawing symbols.
• Can work from flat profile drawings and understand development lengths.
• Capable of working to deadlines
• Understands safe working practices material and tooling limits.

Qualifications/skills:

• Apprentice trained or time served
• Capable of forging good working relationships with colleague and Team Leaders
• Ability to operate measuring devices such as callipers, square, micrometres, protractors, and tape measures
