Fantastic opportunity based with an ever-growing Aerospace company based in Burnley.

Core Responsibilities

• You will be producing class 2 & 3 metallic sheet fabrications operating press brake machines.


• In line with customer specifications, producing components to the correct dimensions and tolerances


• Working from engineering drawings to ensure work in completed to the correct standards


• Operating of CNC Brake Press within the fabrications department.


• Understand key drawing characteristics to ensure a compliant part is produced.


• Using dimensional measuring equipment such as height gauges and verniers


• Communicating effectively with your Team Leader, Inspection and other engineering departments


• Record, highlight and support continuous improvement


• Working to deadlines and recording data on the necessary systems

What are we looking for?

• Experience operating CNC Brake Presses is essential


• Programming experience is advantageous


• Time Served/Apprentice trained is desired


• Good understanding of measuring equipment


• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings


• Experience to working to aerospace standards is desirable


• Flexible approach to working hours in line with customer demands


• Good communication skills as part of a team


• Able to follow procedures and follow health and safety guidelines
